Dave Dresden provides a diverse portfolio of executive coaching, organizational and management consulting services. He works with individual leaders, managers and groups to define and achieve strategic goals, improve teamwork and facilitate effective workplace environments and relationships. Dave also supports individuals in career transformations and life transitions.
Well-versed in the complex dynamics of the business environment, Dresden has held senior line-management positions at Warner Bros., Lucas Film, ESPN, Foote, Cone & Belding, and J. Walter Thompson. He’s worked with world-class clients including Mattel, Disney, Twentieth Century Fox, Nickelodeon, Frito-Lay, Kodak, Bandai and Nintendo. He brings a unique and valuable perspective to his coaching clients through over 20 years of first-hand knowledge of the corporate, business and organizational challenges they face.
Dave has coached clients from organizations including: Toyota, Lucas Film, Hyperion, KPMG, Lucent, Mattel, Siebel, Porter-Novelli, DraftFCB, Sony Pictures and Stanford University. He has also worked for Right Management Consultants as an executive coach and a career consultant. In his practice, he regularly works with a variety of assessment tools including MBTI, Strong Inventory, The Birkman, Enneagram and various 360-feedback measures.
Dave received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Journalism and Marketing from Northern Illinois University. A certified Professional Integral Coach, he served two terms as President of the Northern California chapter of the Professional Coaches and Mentors Association (PCMA) and is a mentor for LifeWorks –an organization supporting LGBT youth.
He has raised money for various organizations by running ten marathons and riding his bike from San Francisco to Los Angeles and has a yoga and Vipassana meditation practice.
